Job Description
Export Order Management & Execution
- Receive and process inquiries from international customers, assess feasibility, and confirm commercial terms.
- Develop production and delivery schedules aligned with committed timelines.
- Coordinate customs procedures and handle export documentation.
- Support ad-hoc requests to ensure smooth customs clearance.
- Market Development & Partner Relationship Management
- Collect and analyze market information, consumer trends, and competitor activities to propose market expansion strategies.
- Research and leverage Free Trade Agreements (EVFTA, CPTPP, RCEP, etc.) to optimize business opportunities.
- Maintain and develop customer relationships: regularly update order status, support customers with arising issues, participate in developing flexible pricing strategies for each market, and conduct periodic quality satisfaction surveys.
- Identify, approach, and build a pipeline of potential new customers in priority markets.
International Trade Promotion
- Implement export promotion programs to expand market reach and enhance brand image.
- Collaborate on developing multilingual marketing materials tailored to the cultural context of each target market.
- Participate in planning and executing trade promotion activities: international trade fairs, business matching missions, and industry seminars.
- Represent BMP at international events, meet potential customers, gather leads, and update market trends.
International Compliance Assurance
- Monitor and update import standards and regulations for assigned markets.
- Coordinate with R&D to adjust product specifications, packaging, or labeling as required.
- Receive and process customer complaints; liaise with relevant departments (QC, Production) to identify root causes and solutions; negotiate compensation, re-export arrangements, or coordinate with insurance companies when necessary.
Request
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Foreign Trade, International Business, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 2-4 years of experience in the export field, including at least 1-2 years in a similar position at an export company/FMCG company.
- Solid understanding of international business operations.
- Language: Proficient in English communication, business email writing, and reading specialized documents. Knowledge of a third language (Korean, Japanese) is an advantage.
- IT Skills: Proficient in office tools, reporting skills, and database handling.
- Strong presentation, analytical, and data synthesis skills.
- Ability to research laws, decrees, and circulars related to import-export activities.
- Experienced in handling export documentation, customs procedures, and working with freight forwarders.
- Experience managing the Philippines, Indonesia, or Thailand markets is a strong advantage.
- Detail-oriented & Meticulous: Ensuring accuracy in document processing and order information.
- Communication Skills: Professional interaction with customers, partners, and internal departments.
- Negotiation Skills: Effectively negotiate pricing, contract terms, and handle complaints.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive: Self-motivated, proposes improvements, and does not wait for instructions.
- Teamwork: Collaborative spirit, willing to support colleagues.
